We have introduced a new welcome bonus, which is available to all new Scotsman Group Chefs who join us from Monday 9th August.
In a highly competitive employment market, we want to attract the very best Culinary Talent to our business and the purpose of this bonus is to acknowledge and recognise the new employee; and encourage retention by rewarding them at key milestones within the initial months of their employment with us.
Payment will be made after the successful completion of 1 month, 2 months and 3 months employment; and all reviews being completed on Basecamp. Rewards will be paid on a tier system depending on the level of position they are employed.
- All welcome bonus payments are subject to tax and national insurance and will be paid through the normal pay process.
- Employee must still be employed with Scotsman Group when the payment is due, and this will not be paid should they be working their notice period at this time.
- Rewards will only be paid for those taken on a permanent basis (therefore excluding seasonal temps etc).
- Employees introduced to us through the employee referral scheme are not eligible to receive a welcome bonus payment; as the Scotsman Hospitality employee will receive the payment as laid out in the referral scheme.
